The Job: The Marketing and Data Intern is responsible for assisting with tasks and projects related to marketing data, CRM, and campaign strategies that support the Marketing Division.
This is a fulltime, onsite internship position starting Monday, May 18th - Friday, August 7th, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support the Salesforce CRM implementation and migration.
- Build and/or refine audience segmentation models for membership and donor outreach.
- Analyze campaign performance data to surface actionable insights.
- Help maintain and improve data hygiene and integrity across marketing databases.
- Create dashboards and/or reports for CRM process improvements and team efficiency.
- Collaborate with other Marketing staff on high-level tasks and team goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be completing programs or courses of study towards a BFA, BA, or BS in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related field within three (3) years.
- Strong desire to work in Marketing areas of data-driven marketing, audience segmentation, and campaign analytics.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills; ability to support multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Work, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
- An eagerness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- Language:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups.
- Mathematical:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as basic math, percentages, etc.
- Reasoning:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Physical:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and taste or smell.
- The employee must occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment:
